ST. CLAIR COUNTY — Beginning at 5 a.m., Monday, August 8, weather permitting, the Alabama Department of Transportation will have right or left lane closures on I-59 northbound for Concrete Joint Sealing, between Milepost 157 (Near Springville Exit) and Milepost 148 (Near Argo Exit).
All travel lanes are expected to re-open at approximately 3 p.m. on Monday, August 8.
These same lane closures will be in place from 5 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, August 8, through Saturday, August 13.
Motorists are requested to consider using alternate routes, adjust arrival/departure times, observe work zone speed limits and other work zone signs, and use extreme caution in this area. ALDOT thanks motorists for their patience during this Construction Operation to improve Alabama’s roadways.
