ST. CLAIR COUNTY — Beginning at 5 a.m., Monday, August 15, weather permitting, the Alabama Department of Transportation will have right or left lane closures on I-59 northbound for Concrete Joint Sealing, between Milepost 157 (near Springville Exit) and Milepost 148 (Near Argo Exit).
All travel lanes are expected to re-open at approximately 3 p.m. on Monday, August 15.
These same lane closures will be in place from 5 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, August 15, through Saturday, August 20.
Motorists are requested to consider using alternate routes, adjust arrival/departure times, observe work zone speed limits and other work zone signs, and use extreme caution in this area. ALDOT thanks motorists for their patience during this Construction Operation to improve Alabama’s roadways.
