JEFFERSON COUNTY — The Jefferson County Coroner, William Yates, is requesting the public’s assistance in locating the family of the following individuals.
Charles Kennedy Bolden, 57, of Birmingham, died on Dec. 15, 2o22, at 11:51 a.m. Bolden was found by a passerby unresponsive on the sidewalk near the Church of the Reconciler in the 100 block of 14th Street North in Birmingham. Bolden was transported to UAB Hospital in Birmingham, where he was later pronounced dead.
Yates stated the cause of death is pending. All attempts to identify and locate the family have failed. In 2021, Bolden listed a home address in the 4300 block of Jackson Street in Birmingham.
James Ellis Motes, Jr., 46, of Birmingham, was found unresponsive inside an abandoned house in the 2900 block of 25th Street North in Birmingham on Dec. 20, 2022, at 3:17 a.m.
Yates said the cause of death is pending. All attempts to identify and locate the family have failed. In 2008, Motes listed an address in the city of Courtland in Lawrence County, Alabama.
Timothy Marvid Jordan, 44, of Birmingham, was found by a passerby unresponsive on a sidewalk in front of a bus stop on 2nd Avenue South at Oporto Madrid Blvd in Birmingham on Dec. 24, 2022, at 1:21 a.m. Yates said the cause of death is pending.
All attempts to identify and locate the family have failed. In 2021, Jordan listed a home address in the 7900 block of 1st Avenue South, Birmingham. He possibly has ties to Cullman, Alabama.
Robert Leon Goad, 61, of Birmingham, was found unresponsive inside his residence in the 2300 block of Court R in Birmingham by a neighbor performing a welfare check on Dec. 24, 2o22, at 5:16 p.m.
Yates said he died of natural causes. All attempts to identify and locate the family have failed. Goad is possibly a veteran.
