IRONDALE – A pedestrian died this morning when he was stuck by a vehicle on I-20 East at the I-459 interchange in Irondale at 3:05 a.m.
“The decedent was a pedestrian walking eastbound on the shoulder of Interstate 20 when struck by a motor vehicle,” Jefferson County Chief Deputy Coroner Bill Yates said. “The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency – State Troopers is investigating the circumstances surrounding the death.”
