TRUSSVILLE — A chain of dessert restaurants has secured a location in Trussville for their next expansion.
The Peach Cobbler Factory has listed Trussville as a “coming soon” location for months but little was known about when they would open and where that location may be. While an opening date has still not been announced, the where can be answered.
Trussville’s Design Review Committee approved signage for the proposed location at 5870 Trussville Crossings Blvd., the same shopping center where Kohl’s is located. Social media posts from the business indicate they will be moving into suite 110. No opening date has been announced.
According to the company website, the restaurant offers cobblers, banana puddings, cinnamon rolls, shakes and cookies, all in multiple flavors.
“The Peach Cobbler Factory offers an indulgent selection of treats that will satisfy any sweet tooth,” according to the website. “Everything we make is prepared with care and love for each flavor-filled bite.”
According to the South Florida Sun-Sentinel, the eatery began in 2013 as a Nashville based food truck which was featured on the Food Network. A decade later, following an acquisition by new owners, the brand has expanded to almost 200 brick and mortar locations across the South.
