Dr. Patrick Martin
Dr. Martin previously held the position of Assistant Superintendent at Vestavia Hills City Schools. After an extensive three-month process of researching and interviewing candidates, including hiring the Alabama Association of School Boards to assist with the process, the Board of Education voted unanimously on Thursday, March 23, to hire Martin.
“When we began this process, we had one and only one goal – we’ve never wavered in that – and that was to get the best fit for Trussville City Schools,” Board President Kathy Brown said at the March 23 special-called meeting.
The reception will be held in the boardroom of the TCS Central Office on Monday, April 17, from 3 – 4:30 p.m.
Following the meet-and-greet, the Trussville City Board of Education will hold its monthly Board Meeting at 5 p.m., also in the boardroom of the Central Office. There will be no work session prior to the meeting.
The Board of Education meeting will be live-streamed. The link to the livestream will be posted on the TCS website (www.trussvillecityschools.com) by 4:45 p.m., Monday, April 17, 2023.
