TRUSSVILLE – Grandview’s Freestanding Emergency Department in Trussville will be temporarily closed while a permanent generator is installed. The shutdown will begin on Wednesday, Sept. 6, at 5 a.m.

All systems should be back up and operational to accept patients beginning at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 7.
Community first responders and other emergency teams have been notified and the FSED team will be in close communication with them during this period.
Installation of the permanent generator will support continued operations and delivery of patient care in the event of a power outage.
