ETOWAH — Etowah High head coach Matt Glover has been placed on administrative leave by Attalla City Schools as of Thursday, Sept. 7.

So far, no reason has been given for the leave.
According to Ben Thomas with AL.com, Blake Bone will serve as interim coach.
The Etowah Blue Devils are currently 0-2 on the season, with one of the losses coming from the Springville Tigers.
Glover previously been head coach of Moody, Pinson Valley, and St. Clair County. He also previously served as the defensive coordinator for Clay-Chalkville.
