CLAY — GoNetspeed announced that the City of Clay will have access to fiber internet by the end of 2023 on Thursday, Sept. 14.
According to GoNetspeed, their privately funded $2.7 million investment in Clay will result in more than 2,600 homes and businesses having access to fiber internet. Construction is set to begin this fall.
“High-speed internet service has become a necessity, and we are excited to soon welcome Clay to our GoNetspeed family,” said Richard Clark, GoNetspeed President and CEO. “Many communities have been left behind without access to another service provider option and a quality internet connection. We are pleased to bring another option to Clay that will support the community’s growing online needs.”
GoNetpeed has announced previously that Pinson is also set to receive their fiber internet capabilities.
