BIRMINGHAM — Officer Truman Fitzgerald of the Birmingham Police Department announced the release of a BPD officer’s body cam footage as it related to the arrest of Minor High School band director Johnny Bernard Mims.
Mims was booked into the Birmingham City Jail at 2:11 a.m. on Saturday before being released on bonds totaling $1300 at 6:43 a.m. He was charged with disorderly conduct, harassment, and resisting arrest.
