TRUSSVILLE — The Trussville Police Department (TPD) will be hosting a National Night Out early next month.
The event will be held at the Trussville Civic Center from 6 p.m.- 9 p.m. on October 3.
Community members are invited to come out and meet Trussville’s first responders in an effort to create a more connected community. The Trussville Fire Department (TFD) and the TPD will be on hand. Residents will be able to get an up close and personal look at the department’s police vehicles.
Activities and games will be available for all ages. Food and refreshments will be on hand for community members.
In a statement on the TPD Facebook page, the department said the event is about strengthening the bond between law enforcement and the community. “Lets stand together against crime and build a safer, more connected Trussville!”
