BIRMINGHAM — Detectives with the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office found meth, fentanyl, and other illegal drugs after a an executed search warrant on Thursday, Sept. 21.
Detectives with the Jefferson County Vice and Narcotics Unit completed a search warrant at a residence in the 900 block of Parkway Drive in Birmingham. After the search was completed, 32-year-old Lathadeus Lewis was taken into custody and charged with numerous drug and firearm charges including trafficking in meth and fentanyl.
He has no bond set at this time due to warrants issued by a judge on previous drug trafficking cases.
During the search, the team seized three firearms, fentanyl and a variety of other illegal drugs.
Lewis is being held in the Jefferson County Jail in Birmingham. Additional charges are possible.
