BIRMINGHAM — A Birmingham man is dead after the vehicle he was traveling in swerved hard to avoid a disabled vehicle and he was ejected during the early morning hours of Thursday, Oct. 26.
The deceased, Jumarcus Dejuan Faison, 38, of Birmingham was a backseat passenger of a vehicle that was traveling north on I-59.
Faison was ejected from the vehicle after the driver swerved to avoid colliding with a disabled vehicle on the interstate at the Roebuck Parkway Exit.
Faison was transported to the UAB Emergency Department by Birmingham Fire and Rescue where he was pronounced dead at 1:20 am. \
The circumstances surrounding the wreck and death are being investigated by the Birmingham Police Department.
