BIRMINGHAM —A two-vehicle crash claimed the life of a Ragland man on Sunday, Nov. 5.
Jamie L. Hannah, 52, was critically injured when the 2006 Harley-Davidson motorcycle that he was operating struck the 2019 Kia Forte driven by a 16-year-old on Alabama 144 near Morgan Bridge Road six miles west of Ragland at 11:45 a.m.
Hannah was thrown from the motorcycle upon impact. He was transported by helicopter to the UAB Hospital in Birmingham for treatment.
On Monday, Nov. 6, Hannah succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased while at the hospital.
Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
