“Jublowski,” which was produced by Chog Media, premiered earlier this year at the Sidewalk Cinema in Birmingham and is now streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
“While I’m so grateful for the opportunities we’ve had with ‘Jublowski’ in live premieres and with streaming, I’ve always enjoyed experiencing entertainment with physical media, like we’re doing by distributing our film on DVD,” said Chog Media CEO Austin Scarborough.
Nichols Nook, which is located at 6454 Main Street in Springville, hosted a promotional event for the release of the DVDs on Thursday, Nov. 16, at 6 p.m. Customers of the store not only had the first opportunity to purchase “Jublowski” in physical media but also got to rub elbows with alumni of past Chog Media productions who were present at the event for a meet and greet.
“I’m so glad we’ve had the opportunity to partner with Nichols Nook,” said Chog’s production manager, Anthony Berneche. “Chog Media’s mission is about impacting the community by helping out in groups and when a customer joins us for events like this at Nichols Nook, they not only are supporting our film but also a local establishment.”
“That way, we get to give back to the community which has been so gracious in helping us pursue our goals in film and media,” Scarborough added.
DVDs of “Jublowski” and some of Chog Media’s past productions will be available at Nichols Nook for the remainder of the year.
“But don’t wait!” iterated Anthony Berneche. “With the holidays quickly approaching, get your copy now.”
“Jublowski” is also available in physical media at DeDe’s Book Rack located at 104 South Chalkville Road in Trussville and in digital format for streaming on Amazon Prime.
