TRUSSVILE – Walk-On’s Sports Bistreaux, the nationally renowned restaurant and sports bar brand, is thrilled to announce the grand opening of its Trussville, Alabama, location on Monday, Dec. 11, 2023.
“This expansion continues to solidify Walk-On’s presence in the heart of the South, offering patrons a unique blend of mouthwatering scratch-made cuisine and lively sports entertainment, creating an unmatched dining experience,” the company said in a press release.
The grand opening of Walk-On’s Sports Bistreaux in Trussville, located at 464 Main Street, featured Samford University starting quarterback Michael Hiers signing autographs from 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., along with a special donation to the Trussville Fire & Rescue Departments Christmas for Kids campaign.

Placed conveniently on Highway 11 in front of the new Grandview Hospital, Trussville residents and visitors dining at the new local Walk-On’s can expect an extensive made-from-scratch menu featuring signature Louisiana inspired dishes such as the Cajundillas, Boudin Balls, and Alligator Bites, along with fan favorites like fresh salads and hand-pressed burgers. The restaurant also offers a full bar with handcrafted cocktails and a wide selection of beers to complement the dining experience. With over 70 big-screen TVs strategically placed throughout the restaurant, sports fans will never miss a moment of their favorite games.
