HOMEWOOD — A Hoover man was killed in a crash in Homewood on Tuesday, according to Jefferson County Chief Deputy Coroner Bill Yates.
Michel Omar McHoward, 42, of Hoover was killed in a crash that occurred at 7:45 a.m. on Tuesday in the 3500 block of Independence Drive in Homewood.
Yates’ report said McHoward was the driver and lone occupant of a motor vehicle involved in a single vehicle collision with a tree.
The Homewood Police Department is investigating the circumstances surrounding the wreck.
