ST. CLAIR COUNTY — Schools in St. Clair County will open on a two hour delay on Tuesday sue to inclement weather.
“Due to an abundance of caution, we will have a 2-hour delay tomorrow Tuesday, January 9, 2024,” The school system said in a statement Monday night.
“The National Weather Service projects high winds in excess of 40 miles per hour. Our concern is to ensure safe travel for busses and for power outages. A 2-hour delay will give us an opportunity to evaluate safe travel to school.
“As always, our main concern is the safety of our students and staff. Thank you and have a great and safe night.”
