ST.CLAIR COUNTY — Due to weather concerns, schools in St. Clair County will using Friday, Jan. 12 as a virtual day, according to a statement release by the system on Thursday morning. Students and faculty will work from home for the day.
“Due to information we have received from the National Weather Service pertaining to the severe weather conditions for tomorrow during school hours, we will be shifting tomorrow, January 12th, to a virtual learning day,” The statement from SCCS said. “All staff and students should remain home during the day. Further information pertaining to classwork and afternoon activities will be communicated by each of your schools and/or teachers. As always, the safety of our students and staff are our topmost priority.”
