BIRMINGHAM — The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a hard freeze warning for Wednesday night which will be in effect until 8 a.m. on Thursday.
Temperatures are expected to drop to 19 degrees overnight Wednesday into Thursday morning.
Thursday brings a 40 percent chance of showers after 3 p.m. Increasing clouds, with a high near 43. South wind 5 to 10 mph.
Thursday night, rain is likely before midnight. Cloudy, with a low around 32. South wind 5 to 10 mph becoming northwest after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
On Friday, expect mostly sunny skies, with a high near 37. Northwest wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Friday night will be mostly clear, with a low around 13. North wind around 10 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.
Saturday will be sunny, with a high near 28 and with a low around 13 Saturday night.
Sunday calls for sunshine with a high near 40 and with a low around 25.
Temperatures should return to the 50s and 60s next week.
