TRUSSVILLE — Trussville police are working to identify a robbery suspect and any assistance from the public would be appreciated.
“On Monday February 19, 2024, at approximately 11:04 p.m., the Trussville Police Department was dispatched to a robbery in progress at Fresh Value Market located at 309 Main Street,” TPD Lt. Clint Riner said. “The offender was described as a black male wearing a camouflage face mask, tan hoodie, and black pants. The suspect entered the store and demanded the employee take him to the safe.”
The employee was forced to the area where the safe is located and the offender attempted to open it several times.
“After several failed attempts, the offender fled the scene on foot,” Riner said. “Thankfully, no one was injured during this crime.”
