CALHOUN COUNTY–Troopers with ALEA’s Marine Patrol Division are searching for a missing individual who may have drowned at Neely Henry Lake on Thursday, according to ALEA Sergeant Jeremy Burkett.
Troopers responded to a report of a marine-related incident near the 100 block of Lake Shore Lane in Ohatchee that occurred at approximately 9:30 p.m. Thursday concerning an individual who may have fallen into Neely Henry Lake.
As of Saturday, the search for the individual continues with assistance from the Ohatchee Police Department, the Southside Fire Department, and the Rainbow City Fire Department.
Troopers with ALEA’s Marine Patrol Division will continue to monitor this situation and provide updates accordingly.
