Terry Lee Pierce, age 69, of Clay, passed away on Oct. 7, 2020 at his home surrounded by all his loved ones.
Terry made it known that he was going to meet his savior. He was a native of Atlanta, GA, and a retired business owner of Bama Excavating Co., Inc. for 25 years.
Graveside services were held at 3 p.m. Monday at Phillips Chapel Cemetery in Northport, Al. with Cleon Kyles officiating. Visitation was held at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home in Trussville, AL.
Terry was preceded by his parents, Aaron Pierce and Doris Battles, and his brothers, Wayne Pierce and Danny Pierce.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Beverly Pierce; his children, Jason Pierce (Brandy) of Powder Springs, GA. Ginger Treglown (Jeffrey) of Trussville, Al. and Daniel Pierce (Jennifer) of Trussville, Al.; grandchildren, Lee Pierce, Luke Moore, Blake Treglown (Amy), Megan Haynes (Chandler) and Alyssa Treglown; 2 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Terry was an outstanding citizen of Clay, Al. And was friend to everyone he met. Terry was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather who loved spending his days with his family, outdoors and fishing.
Pallbearers were Jason Pierce, Daniel Pierce, Jeffrey Treglown, Lee Pierce, Luke Moore and Blake Treglown.
