BIRMINGHAM – An arrest has been made in connection to the murder of a 29-year-old man in Birmingham.
Sanders, of Fairfield, faces capital murder charges and is being held without bond at the Jefferson County Jail.
The homicide investigation began on May 12 when officers responded to a shooting in the 2900 block of Gallant Drive. Upon arrival, police discovered Hardy inside his vehicle suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Birmingham police say the preliminary investigation indicates Hardy was sitting inside his vehicle having a conversation with someone in a silver SUV when the passenger of the SUV exited and fired shots into his vehicle.
