BIRMINGHAM — Birmingham police say they have obtained arrest warrants in connection to a June 28 homicide case.
BPD says the following warrants have been obtained on both Patterson and Perkins-Jones: murder ($250,000 bond) and attempted murder ($100,000). Both suspects were recently transported to the Jefferson County Jail, however Perkins-Jones has since bonded out.

BIRMINGHAM — A 20-year-old man has died following a Monday-night shooting at an east Birmingham Chevron station.
The victim has been identified by the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office as Dentarius Maurice Jackson.
Jackson, according to authorities, was shot in the parking lot of a Chevron station located at 8730 1st Avenue North in Birmingham. He was transported to UAB Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 8:53 p.m. Tuesday.
Birmingham police have taken in two people for questioning, according to reports. This is an ongoing investigation.
