FAIRFIELD — The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after a teen was found shot and killed in Fairfield.
The Jefferson County Coroner/Medical Examiner’s Office identified the teen as Jamel Baldwin, of Hueytown.
Detectives are asking anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers of Metro Alabama at (205) 254-7777.
“It is important that the community come forward with information so that justice can be served for this young man’s family,” said Sgt. Joni Money. “We want to get those responsible for this crime off the streets of Jefferson County.”
