BIRMINGHAM — A single-vehicle accident claims the life of an unidentified man on Sunday, October 17, around 3:29 a.m.
According to the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office, the unidentified male was the driver and lone occupant of a Chevrolet Camaro traveling east on 96th Street approaching the West Blvd intersection. The victim’s vehicle left the roadway for unknown reasons, traveled through multiple residential front yards, re-entered the roadway, and flipped multiple times, ejecting the victim from the vehicle.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Birmingham Police Department is investigating the circumstances surrounding the single-vehicle wreck.
