MOODY — The City of Moody plans its third annual Fallen Officers Ride for Sunday, May 22, 2022.
The ride will leave Moody City Park (670 Park Ave) at 2:30 p.m. and, much like last year, will proceed through many of the neighborhoods patrolled and protected by the Moody Police Department.
Moody Police Department, Steve Lawley (256)591-3590, and When2Ride will be hosting the event. Registration is from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. on the day of the event, and it is a $20 fee per bike.
There will be a 50/50 drawing at the end of the ride, and donations are accepted. Proceeds will go to Moody Police Department Law Enforcement Memorial Fund.
“Please come out and support our city in remembering these fine officers, and to our residents, we invite you to come out in your yards and driveways and give support to these officers and riders as they come thru your neighborhood,” third annual Fallen Officers Ride Facebook events page states. “We will once again be posting an estimated time we will be coming thru each of the neighborhoods.”
Visit the event page on Facebook prior to the ride for estimated times.
