Kenneth Ray (Red) Mathis, born March 1, 1942, in Pell City, passed from this life on June 14, 2022, after a brief and unexpected illness.
Mr. Mathis was a resident of Trussville for the past 45 years. Red served in the US Army and the US Army National Guard out of Pell City. He was a former Industrial Maintenance Supervisor at United Chair Company in Leeds, Alabama, until retiring, then worked as a Security Guard with Dynamic Security in Birmingham for 15 years after retirement.
Mr. Mathis is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 43 years, Evelyn. Mr. Mathis leaves behind a son, Aaron; four daughters; Heather, Julee, Michelle (Toni), and Simone (David); six grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
