TRUSSVILLE — Beginning at approximately 9 a.m., Wednesday, July 20, weather permitting, the Alabama Department of Transportation will perform Routine Bridge Inspections on I-59 between Chalkville Mountain Road and Deerfoot Parkway (Milepost 142.9 +/-).
- This operation will require the right (outside) lane of I-59 in each direction (SB & NB) to be closed during the inspection.
- All lanes will be re-opened no later than 3 p.m.
Motorists are requested to use alternate routes, adjust arrival/departure times, observe work zone speed limits and other work zone signs, and use extreme caution in this area. ALDOT thanks motorists for their patience during this Maintenance Operation to keep Alabama’s roadways safe.
