TRUSSVILLE — The Trussville Witches Ride Committee invites business owners to contribute to the success of this year’s event through sponsorship opportunities.
Trussville Witches Ride, Inc., a nonprofit whose mission is “witchy women riding for a local cause,” is preparing for this year’s ride through the historic Cahaba Homestead on October 22, 2022. Sponsorships are now available, and the committee invites all local business owners to provide their support for this growing, witchy event.
“Each year, the Trussville Witches Ride Committee selects a worthy cause in which the proceeds from the ride goes to,” Niki Lincoln, Vice President of the Trussville Witches Ride committee, said. “An event like this is not possible without the generosity of those who participate through sponsorships. If not for our sponsors, this organization would not be able to make the positive impact that we hope to make for the beneficiary and his family.”
This year’s ride beneficiary is Caleb Wilson, an 11-year-old Trussville resident battling a type of cancer called Neurofibromatosis, resulting in the growth of tumors in Caleb’s nervous system.

“We are thrilled to offer our support for the Wilson family as they go through Caleb’s treatment journey,” Christy McDonald, President of the Trussville Witches Ride committee, said. “Last year, we were absolutely blown away by the support of the community for this event, benefiting the Trowbridge family and their son’s battle with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. We hope that the momentum continues to grow this year and in years to come so that we can all work together to make a difference for deserving families and causes.”
