CENTER POINT — Jefferson County sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of a shooting in the 2200 block of 1st Place NW in Center Point Monday around 6:45 p.m. a release said.
When deputies arrived, they located an adult male in a car with an apparent gunshot wound to his shoulder. He was transported to a local hospital by a private vehicle. His injury is not life-threatening according to the release.
One block from there, three adult males were stopped and were allegedly in possession of stolen guns. The three suspects were taken into custody to be questioned by police. The investigation is still ongoing.
