PINSON –Emergency vehicles and motorists are being asked by the Alabama Department of Transportation to find alternate routes as lane closures and delays loom on Monday in the Palmerdale area of Pinson.
Weather permitting, the Alabama Department of Transportation announces a lane closure on Highway 75 from milepost 10.3 to milepost 11.7 as follows:
Monday, March 28, beginning at 8 a.m., the northbound (outside) lane of Highway 75 from approximately 3 miles north of Pinson near the intersection of Clay/Parmerdale Road will be closed for widening construction at the entrance to the Birmingham Northern Beltline.
Motorists should find alternate routes or adjust arrival and departure times, observe work zone speed limits and other work zone signs, and use extreme caution in this area.
