MONTGOMERY –State Representative Danny Garrett (R-Trussville) shared his nephew, Joseph Garrett’s adventures in Montgomery where he became the first special needs page in House history. Joseph is the son of Don and Lisa Garrett.
Joseph Garrett was also able to meet with multiple government officials, including Alabama Governor Kay Ivey.

“I appreciate the hospitality of all the government officials, including my colleagues in the House,” Garrett stated on his Facebook page. “I appreciate the pins and other memorabilia presented to Joseph.”
Joseph Garrett spent part of the day serving as a page for the Statehouse and was taken on a tour through the state Capitol where he also met Secretary of State John Merrill and Speaker of the House Mac McCutcheon. He was presented with pins from the officials during his tour there.
Danny Garrett represents District 44 (Trussville, Clay, and Pinson) and is former Vice President of the Trussville City Schools Board of Education.
