From The Trussville Tribune staff reports
TRUSSVILLE –It has long been known that a second craft brewery, Ferus, would follow Slagheap Brewing Company into the downtown area, but now details are emerging for the additional elements of the 23,000 square foot building at the end of Morrow Avenue.
In addition to the craft beer brewery and a new distillery, Ferus Eatery and an event space will be located in the same building.
“Our focus has always been to bring high quality, unique businesses to Trussville,” Developer Coby Lake said. “In the brewery, distillery, and eatery, that’s exactly what we’ll be doing. These will be totally unique to Trussville and they’ll become destination locations.”
The restaurant will be attached to the taproom providing guests an upscale, fast, and friendly dining experience. The Ferus Eatery will serve salads, appetizers, flatbreads, sandwiches and entrees. Gluten-Free, Vegetarian & Vegan options will also be available.
