BIRMINGHAM — According to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, a second person has been charged in the homicide of a man in an unincorporated area of the county.
The homicide took place in April when the victim, Jeremy Davis, 38, was shot in a robbery on April 13. On that day, Davis was driven to a house on Salina Avenue by a man that authorities say he sold marijuana to.
When they arrived, Davis was shot by a suspect who walked up to the car. The suspect then robbed the driver and told him to drive away. The alleged suspect was identified as Horace Jackson.
