CENTER POINT — On May 3, members of the Coterie Club of Birmingham participated in a spring project to spruce up the Three Hots and A Cot facility located on Old Springville Road.
The Coterie Club is a group of ladies who share similar interests and are active in service to various communities.
After water damage affected the facility’s landscaping, workers removed existing plants and mulch and replaced with a fresh look. The crew planted Day Lilies, Knock Out Roses, Heavenly Bamboo, Monkey Grass and Dwarf Yaupon.
Project members included Coterie Club of Birmingham members Marlene Furgerson, Linda Westendorf, Liz Holland, Betty Shikle and Ruby Hamric and David Reece, Billy Manning, Rich Cislak and Buddy Fletcher.
