TRUSSVILLE – The Trussville Fire Department has announced this year’s participation in Christmas for Kids program which assists families in need during the Christmas season.
If you are someone you know are in need this Christmas season, please visit this website to complete the pre-registration form.
The TFD asks applicants to include the following information in order to complete a formal application including:
- Driver’s License (for the person making application);
- Social Security Cards for each person in the household (Medicaid card with name & SSN card is not available);
- To verify address, bring one of the following: Alabama Power, water, or gas bill showing their street address (Telephone or cable bill not acceptable);
- To verify income, (bring all that applies) including check stubs for each working member of the household, statement of income for child support, statement of allotment for Social Security (SSA/SSI) for each eligible member of the household, including children, statement of allotment for food stamps and/or WIC, and statement of allotment for any other assistance;
- Custody papers/statement of guardianship for relative children or other children living in the house; and
- Wishlist: ideas of what thee children are interested in getting for Christmas (Note: this does not guarantee items; it is just a wish list to help us select items for the child.)
