TUSKEGEE — Reality star “Mama June” Shannon posted bond in Macon County, Alabama, after an arrest March 13.
The Macon County Sheriff’s Office said Shannon and a friend, Eugene Doak, were taken into custody at a gas station. According to court documents, people nearby called police about an altercation. Investigators arrived and said they found crack cocaine and a pipe in their possession.
Both Shannon and Doak were charged with felony drug possession and misdemeanor unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
They later posted bond and have since been seen on video at a casino in Wetumpka.
Shannon became famous after entering her daughter, “Honey Boo Boo,” in pageants featured on TLC’s “Toddlers and Tiaras.” The family gained so much attention they were given a spin-off show, “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo.” Shannon has more recently starred in her own spin-off, “Mama June: From Not to Hot.”
