TRUSSVILLE — The 2019 Husky Baseball Camp is ready to get started early next month. The camp provides fun and learning for youth that are interested in getting a clear look at how baseball operates.
“This is just a time of the year that all our players and coaches look forward to help youth try a lot of different aspects of the game,” said Huskies Head Baseball Coach Jeff Mauldin. “A lot of what we do is the same as what we do with our players. The kids enjoy all the different competitions that we do. And most of the kids love slide day. That is when we teach them to slide head and feet first and we use a big kind of slip and slide to do it. So, we’re just looking forward to teaching some baseball and having fun while we’re doing it.”
Parents interested in signing their kids up for this event will find a signup sheet and general information here.
