Trussville Baseball Association’s third annual charity fall ball tournament will benefit the family of Brayden Turner, who was killed in an ATV accident in Carrington last month.
The tournament will be Oct. 17 and Oct. 20.
Teams who wish to enter the tournament are encouraged to make a donation, but it is not a requirement to participate. Donations will also be accepted at the gate.
All donations collected will go directly to the Brayden Turner Memorial Fund, which was set up through Faith Community Fellowship Church to help the family with expenses incurred due to Turner’s death. All income from concession stand sales will also be donated to the fund.
All Dizzy Dean and Metro Park teams from the 5, 6, 8U, 10U and 12U age groups are welcome to the tournament. The tournament is single elimination.
