TRUSSVILLE –A Snapchat photo making the rounds on social media has cost an employee at Play Station their job.
The photo that depicts a female allegedly employed at the business with a plastic bag over her head. The caption across the photo says, “when’s the KKK meeting?” The girl is wearing a play Station T-shirt in the photo.
In a Facebook post today, Play Station issued the following statement.
On July 18, 2016, Trussville PlayStation learned of an inappropriate photo taken at Trussville PlayStation by an employee. Trussville PlayStation investigates all complaints thoroughly and holds all employees accountable for their actions to maintain the highest professional standards. The image does not depict the beliefs of Trussville PlayStation its owners or employees. Safety and security of our facility, employees, and customers remains a very high priority. It is the policy of Trussville PlayStation to offer employees and customers the opportunity to participate in recreational activities without regard to race, color, religion, sex, age, national or ethnic origin, political beliefs, martial status, parenthood, disability, sexual orientation, or social and family background.
In a separate message, the business said the employee is no longer affiliated with the company.
A message left with Play Station had not been returned at the time of publication.
