The Trussville Civic Center is hosting a fifth anniversary open house celebration Tuesday, Oct. 15.
The event begins at 5:30 p.m. and lasts until 8:30 p.m.
There will be free food and drinks, drawings for free memberships and free giveaways. There will also be tours of the facility’s gym, workout areas and the six meeting rooms.
The civic center, which opened in October 2008, has approximately 16,000 square feet of meeting space. The exhibit hall accommodates about 1,000 theater style and 470 banquet style.
When the civic center was erected, Davis Architects was the architectural firm and Stabridg Construction Company, Inc. was the contractor.
The civic center is located at 5381 Trussville-Clay Road in Trussville.
