Northerly winds will increase across north Alabama on Sunday with surface temperatures reaching freezing in the northwest Alabama counties by midnight Sunday.
The freezing temperatures will reach a line from Tuscaloosa, to Birmingham, to Gadsden by sunrise Monday morning.
