On March 28, Charli Jones Parker, 30, was arrested and booked into the Pickens County Jail for engaging in a sex act with a student under the age of 19.

Parker is a coach and teacher at Pickens Academy in Carrollton, Ala. The alleged allegation involves a male student, and according to a press release from District Attorney J. Chris McCool, the sex act did not occur on the school’s campus.
McCool said the arrest was the result of an investigation that was conducted by the Pickens County Sheriff’s Department, and he said the investigation is ongoing.
Parker posted her $110,000 bond at 3:48 p.m. on Tuesday.
Parker’s charge is a class B felony, which carries a potential sentence of 22 years in a state penitentiary.
