From The Trussville Tribune Staff Reports
The Alabama Department of Transportation will make median modifications on Highway 280 beginning September 11.
Modifications will begin at 7 p.m. Sunday and will go from 7 p.m. until 5 a.m. Sunday through Thursday until completion, in approximately two weeks.
U.S. 280 from the intersection of Cherokee Road to the intersection of Overton Road will have guardrail and concrete slopes removed, with topsoil and solid sod being installed.
Motorists should expect delays during these operations. They are asked to consider using alternate routes, adjusting arrival and departure times, observing work zone speed limits and other signage, and to use extreme caution.

Millions to put it in, millions to remove it, and millions more to put something in its place. Nice.
