BIRMINGHAM — Mayor-elect Randall Woodfin will hold a press conference Tuesday morning to announce the executive leadership of his new administration, according to a press release.
Woodfin is slated to take office on Nov. 28. He has already announced the heads of his transition process — Gen. Charles Krulak and former Alabama Power Vice President Bobbie Knight — as well as several transition committee co-chairs.
Woodfin will reveal the positions of Chief of Staff, Chief Operating Officer, Senior Advsor and Chief Strategist, Director of Intergovernmental Affairs, City Attorney, and Executive Administrator. Other positions will be announced after Woodfin’s inauguration on Nov. 28.
“The executive team I will announce tomorrow combines years of experience in Birmingham city government as well as private sector and education experience. Our core values will be customer service, transparency, effectiveness, efficiency and accountability,” Woodfin said in a statement.
The announcement will take place Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the Birmingham Civil Rights Museum.
