CLAY — Zena Nicole Terry, 12, a resident of Clay and student of Irondale Middle School, was crowned Miss Pre-Teen Alabama at a state competition in Mountain Brook and will go to a national competition in July.
Terry was given the crown at the Grand Bohemian in Mountain Brook on April 30 where she also won most photogenic and best sportswear in her division.
She will advance to the Miss Pre-Teen United States pageant in Florida on July 4.
The Pre-Teen division is made up of girls ages 10 to 12. At the national competition in Florida, the girls will represent every state in the United States.
