TRUSSVILLE — It’s almost time for the Trussville Christmas Parade, and it looks as if the turnout will continue to grow.
Around 80 entries have been submitted to participate in the parade on Saturday, Dec. 14, 2019. The parade will go from Parkway Drive, in front of Cahaba Elementary School, to Main Street and down North Chalkville Road, where it will end by the Christmas tree in the West Mall.
The parade is sponsored by Amari & Gray Legal Advocacy and Consulting and will be streamed live on The Trussville Tribune app, app available for Apple and Android devices, TribTV and on The Trussville Tribune’s Facebook page.
The parade lineup starts at 1 p.m. and the parade will begin at 3 p.m.
Trussville Downtown Merchants are hosting a cookie walk before the parade. Businesses in Trussville were asked to prepare 50, individually wrapped Christmas treats. Anyone with a ticket for the cookie walk will be able to go from store to store to get their cookies.
The cookie walk will be from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
