BESSEMER — The Bessemer Police Department is investigating two separate shootings that left three people dead on Saturday, March 21, 2020.
The first shooting happened around 6:20 p.m. on Long 14th Street. According to Carol Robinson with al.com, the shooting happened after a group of people got into an altercation. One man was shot and killed at that location. Another person was taken to UAB Hospital for treatment.
The second shooting happened an hour later on Bell Street. Robinson reports a man fired his weapon and struck two men, killing them.
No arrests have been announced in connection to either shooting.
